Emerging Leaders Feed the Homeless

All chamber members are invited to join the Emerging Leaders in making 1,000 sandwiches for homeless people served by the 363 Days Food Program.  Known as "The Sandwich Man", Allan Law will talk about his 30 year passion for delivering sandwiches overnight to people living on the streets of Minneapolis.  Allan was recently featured in a documentary called "The Starfish Throwers" and has received numerous volunteer awards including the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Gold Medallion. We will also be collecting funds to purchase bus tokens, as many homeless people ride public transit to keep warm during winter.  

This event is a great way to give back to the community and a fun team building experience. We welcome small groups of employees from your company to participate--the more the merrier!  Please email Erica Hollom to register your group at erica@edina.org.
