B.E.E.R. Event: William A. Blazar, VP at MN Chamber

Mr. Blazar is Senior Vice President of public affairs and business development at the Minnesota Chamber. In that capacity, he is responsible for the Chamber's policy and political programs. He also directs Grow Minnesota!, the Chamber's statewide business retention and assistance program. 

Mr. Blazar will report on current Twin Cities economic conditions; the state policies that are now of greatest concern to the region’s businesses; and, how they are being addressed by the 2017 Legislature.  His comments will draw from hundreds of recent one-on-one visits with Twin Cities businesses completed by the Minnesota Chamber’s Grow Minnesota! program. You’ll leave this meeting knowing how the region’s economy is likely to perform this year; what the MN Chamber recommends state policy makers do to improve it; and, whether or not legislators and the Governor will act this year.
